Dear Proud North Carolinians,
We’re hitting the ground running! I am absolutely honored that the members of the North Carolina House District 4 Executive Committee provided me their vote of confidence to be the Democratic Party’s nominee in the Nov 6 General Election. As I learned early in life—“never let the grass grow under your feet”--I am making every effort to quickly reach out to key leaders in Wayne and Duplin counties because your support is very important to me. Before going further, let me share more about myself.
I have spent all of my adult life caring for others. As a nurse at the United States Naval Hospital and as a school and mental health nurse, my patients and students taught me much about compassion and the importance of advocating for the needs of families. As a real estate broker, I understand the concerns of small business owners and the need of a more vibrant economy. As a concerned citizen, who has remained active in various community organizations, I understand the need for good government—one that works for its people. Clearly, my background has prepared me to serve as our next North Carolina representative.
I want to work for you, your family, and the residents of Wayne and Duplin counties. My campaign is about putting people first and rejecting the politics that is fueled by special interest. After much thought and deliberation I accepted the challenge to run for the NC House of representatives District 4 after Mrs. Kennedy’s withdrawal, because I am so appalled at some of the divisive legislation that passed the House; some in the dead of night (midnight, even). Doing nothing was not an option for me. I am willing to work hard to bring about change, to put people above politics. Once elected, I will bring jobs into Wayne and Duplin counties, protect our children in the classroom, and restore trust in our government. However, this will only be possible with your help.
Together, we will be victorious on Nov 6. If you have any questions or need to reach me directly, then please reply to this message or call (910) 298-2124.
Very truly yours,
Rebecca H. Judge
Candidate, NC House District 4
